What is this whole thing?

A blog engine with Webmore commenting technology.

Articles can be commented sentence by sentence, not just as a whole. Comments appear in expandable small bubbles within the leads between the lines.

Hey, why a new blog engine? Why not just a plugin for ...?

At Thiblo, articles are just special comments, everything is a Webmore text. Even this intro is webmore commentable. Both articles and comments are versioned. Currently existing systems just didn't cut it.

Why isn't there images/rss/comment notifications/etc...?

There will be, there will be, everything will be there. We just thought it is a nice idea to release gradually. Now there is Webmore, which is interesting, and new. We bring in all the customary features one by one.

What guarantees that you won't go out of business, or fill up my blog with ads after I've used it for a while?

The first: Truth? Nothing. However, we are working on it since years, we are enthusiast and have big plans with it.

The second: we'd like to be in business on the long run, so we'd better not frustrate You, the Dear User. The famous "Don't be evil" rule is a simple economic rule - and it feels good too!

Won't it be too slow?

What answer do you expect? No, it won't. Currently the system runs on two real-time synchronized servers, one in the US, an other in Europe. We plan to add resources as needed, let's try it, and we'll see!

What's in it for you then?

This is gonna be the place where it worth to publish. A place where we expect quality (Webmore) comments, where our ideas can be hosted in forms of articles.

Oh, and if there's something to fix, we can fix it... That's an invaluable benefit. You can take a look at the source code too!

OK, OK, there's gonna be everything, but right now, this is way too little. Now really, when is it going to be usable? Say, when can I create my own design for my own blog?
